Plot

Dean goes off on his own to take on a case. Meanwhile, Castiel has an idea of how he can help Sam track down God.

Opinion

I waited two weeks to get my little Dean-Time, that was far to long in my opinion, but I was very satisfied with the episode. Although not much is happening, especially on the monster of the week side, it was a really cool and entertaining episode. In addition, I am even satisfied just watching Dean doing nothing so Dean partying is the best for me. And he seemed so happy for the moment, it was just heartwharming and fun to watch. Furthermore Jensen singing?! I think I don't need to say more.

As said the monster of the week seems to be not that important, because the main aspect in this episode is, that Dean is getting on his feet again. He has given up the last time and he definitely needed some time for himself to bring himself back in the game. And that is what happened. His old friend turned mad, because he had no choice. Dean of course redeems that and told him, to never give up and fight. I think at this moment he finally believed in himself again and that they can do something. Because the Winchesters have never ever given anything about fate. 

Dean: I don't know you

Lee: You don't Dean? I am you. I just woke up and saw that the world was broken.

Dean: Then you fix it. You don't walk away you fight for it.

In the meantime Sam and Eileen are hanging out in the buncker when Cas appears and told them that they maybe can find god. So they do and surprise, that wasn't a good idea, but they also learned that Chuck is weak and they have a chance. So when Dean pops up they finally end an episode with something hopefull. I hope myself, that the weird behavior between Cas and Dean will be solved the next time around, that was totally awkward. But finally they are in the same room again, so that means something.

Conclusion

Not much is happening, but it was an entertaining and also important episode to gain back hope after all the misery lately.
