Plot

After the last three episodes, the Boys are back into business. Both of them are suffering from what happened. The loss of their mother, Rowena and Ketch and also Cas is gone. So Dean pushes Sam onto a hunt to distract them both from their misery.

Opinion

I was so excited for this episode because who could resist a good old monster of the week. And although the main plot was a bit to obvious and slow, it was fun and entertaining. We finally got the infamous humor and sarcasm back, after all the shitty things that happened. I really appreciated that. As said the main plot with Sam and Dean seems to be more of a nice side-act. Really interesting was the scene between Chuck and Becky our No. 1 Supernatural-Fan. It is so intense although you don't know what he planed in the end, but it keeps you excited as hell and that was the goal.

 Let's talk about the scene in the beginning. It seemed to be an alternate universe were Sam is back on Demon Blood again and Dean is fighting him. The John Wick Fight-Scene was really cool. I read about this before and it was a blast, totally awesome stunnt-work. Back to the beginning. Everyone in the bunker dies and Sam wakes up. Is he having visions again? Does all of this start over? Was it just a dream or is it another world? All this questions come to mind when you see this. And that is all you got, there is no further hint or talk about this scene. I am very curious what they will do with this in the future. And by the way I really like Dean with the beard <3

So about the music. Damn this was amazing. I've already read, that they put Sounds of Someday from Jensen Ackles in this episode. If you don't know, his album just released on November 8th, the day after the episode aired. From presale I knew this song and really loved it and it was amazing with the scenery.

Conclusion

Back to a weekly monster hunt with they Boys. It was entertaining and funny. Something you really needed after the first three episodes. If it weren't for Chucks intense scenes, you could forget about the big misery behind this all.

Hahaha that's one of my favorite songs by Motionless in White. Quite fitting 😋  It's been a bit quiet here the last 2 years because I was a little occupied with Instagram and YouTube, I completely stopped blogging here. I even started a new blog over at Wordpress, but didn't like it that much and never continued.  That's the problem when you do many things at once. You just don't have time anymore. And because I have Instagram and also YouTube and goodreads, who doesn't? This platform was too much and I never really engaged with someone here, so it felt kinda unnecessary to post something. But there are some things that are too long for instagram, even some of my reviews, or things that aren't good for a video. That's why I thought, why not revive this blog from the dead.
